Happy Memorial Day!!!

We had a fun filled holiday weekend. On Saturday we celebrated my grandparent's(Momo and Popo) 50th wedding anniversary. It was great for all the family to get together and I was able to see lots of out of town family too.

Our little family.....

My Boys....

Momo and Popo with all of their GREAT grand babies and they have two more BOYS on the way......Pretty Special!!!!!

On Monday Tyler had his first lake trip. We took the boat out to Ray Roberts for the afternoon. He loved the boat ride, of course. The sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, and life jacket were all ok too. It was the water temperature that got him. It was a bit on the chilly side, at first. It took a while to get used to but of course you can't explain that to a baby. He screamed at first and then he got used to it. It ended up being a very fun day!!!!
Ready to go!!

And screaming......

It was Chloe's first trip too.....
They were worn out after about and hour. This was nap one of two for Tyler......
And screaming again......

Not Fat, Just Big Boned!!!

There's no hiding it, Tyler is big. We've know it since he was in my tummy. This picture says it all, and I love it. I love the chub, the rolls, the cheeks, and even the man boobs!!! So stinking cute!!

3 months!!

Some days it feels like yesterday when Tyler was born and some days it seems like it's been a lot longer than three months. Either way it's been the hardest, scariest, most stressful three months of my life. But, through all the hardship it's been the happiest most joyful time in my life too!! And the good outweighs the bad...by a ton! It's been a roller coaster adventure and I am so proud of the THREE of us. Tyler has been quite the trooper, such a brave and strong little boy. Rusty has been my rock and I could not have chosen a more perfect person to experience this with. Tyler is so lucky to have such a wonderful daddy.

As far as my three month old, he's doing fabulous. He's still sleeping through the night, about 10PM to 8Am!!! He's laughing and smiling ALL the time and is pretty much a happy little baby. If you haven't noticed from the pictures, he's still big. He just started wearing 6-9month clothes and is growing more and more everyday. His heart is doing great! We went for a checkup a couple of weeks ago and everything looks great. We don't have to go back until November, Thank you Lord!!

Life with the Becks is fantastic!! I only have 71/2 days of school left and a whole summer with Tyler. I can't wait, he's at such a fun age!!

I know I say this every time, but thank you so much for everything. Our friends and family have been AMAZING! We could not have done this without your love, support, and prayers!

Go Mean Green!!!

So, as you know are Mean Green fans through and through! We both graduated from UNT, Rusty played football there, and he is getting his masters from UNT too. Well, Tyler doesn't know it yet but he too is a Mean Green fan!! Our dear friends Kimberly and Weston are expecting and we went to their diaper shower last week. The shower happened to be at her parents house and her dad just happens to be the North Texas athletic director. So, of course we took the opportunity to dress Tyler in his finest Mean Green gear. This is by far my favorite outfit ever....

Lovin some Daddy time......

Sensory Overload.....

In the last couple of weeks Tyler has gotten big enough to play in his exercaucer. He's doing better and better in it and is able to hold himself up better. At times he will stay in there for 30 minutes or so. Great news for me!! As you will see in the pictures, he spends most of his time trying to figure out the toys!!!!! I guess it is sensory overload for someone so new to this world!

This is what I woke up to on Mother's Day!!!

Mother's Day and Much More.....

My 1st Mother's Day was perfect. Started the morning off with gifts. Tyler did great!! Then, we had lunch at La Madeline, one of my faves. Rusty has refused to go there with me for the past 61/2 years....until now. Guess what, he actually liked it. We spent the day together and it was absolutely perfect!
Tyler's birthstone ring....

As far as Tyler goes, he is doing great. He's still sleeping through the night, about 9 hours. The other night he actually slept 12 hours, pretty impressive. Not only is he sleeping through the night, he is sleeping in his crib. We moved him there about a week ago. Believe it or not he had out grew his bassinet. We do have the video monitor and needless to say, I am glued to it throughout the night.

He is laughing, talking, and smiling like crazy, and there is nothing more precious.
Big milestone...he rolled over!!!
Before....

After.....

I only have 15 1/2 days of school left and I am itching for summer. Until then he is spending lots of time with Daddy, Grammy, and Mimi!!!
This journey has been hard but totally worth it. We love him soooo much. We would not have been able to do it without all of you. So, thanks again for all of your prayers, love, and support!!
