Sea World...

This past weekend we took a trip to Sea World with Rusty's parents, sister, brother-in-law, and their kids. Before we went I was a little concerned about taking Tyler, a 16 month old, to Sea World. But, he did fantastic!! He napped in the stroller, people watched, and enjoyed the shows. We all had such a wonderful time!! I haven't been to Sea World since I was 5 or 6 so I was really excited to go too!

15 months!!

Last week was T's 15 month checkup and everything was great! He is so much fun at this age and I'm loving it. Let me just tell you some of the precious things he is doing......

-playing ring around the rosie and singing, "ashes, down"
-he's currently really into making funny faces and rolling his eyes
-throwing fits and throwing his body to the ground (this is cute most of the time)
-talking, his newest words are outside, thank you, bath, and Boomer (Rusty's dad)
-fake sneezing and burping
-giving lots of hugs and kisses
-dancing

I could go on and on but you get the point!! He's precious and I love him more every day!

It's been a while...

It's been over two months since my last post so we have some catching up to do!! My sweet baby is now 15 months, I can't believe it. Since the last time I posted we have had Tyler's baby dedication at church and Rusty finished his MBA, we have been very busy and have lots to celebrate!!

 Both of our families came and of course I only managed to get this family shot. Which is ruined by the dork in the background......

 Rusty finished school last weekend and we had a little party with our families and friends to celebrate......

I'm very proud of my boys!! 

Cardio Update....

Last Tuesday was Tyler's checkup. Good news, everything was great!! His blood pressure was good. The repair, and his valve are all functioning well. He does still have the small hole, but it's not casuing a problem and the Dr thinks it will close up by the next visit. We go back in September. Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers, I really appreciate it.

Cardio Apt.

I bumped up his appointment to March 15th. The nurse also gave me assurance that it was probably not a big deal. She gave a whole list of things that could cause a murmur, especially on a heart that has had a repair. But, for my peace of mind I went ahead and bumped up the appointment. I take him first thing that morning, so fingers crossed it's no biggie.

1 year check up.....

Today was Tyler's checkup with Dr. Squiers. He weighed 23.5lbs(54%),  and was 31 1/4 inches(86%). His appointment went well. Developmentally, Tyler is right on track. He did have to get 3 shots which did not make Tyler very happy.

Dr. Squiers did hear another murmur in Tyler's heart. He is not concerned and thinks it could have to do with Tyler's current heart conditions and all his previous issues. It could be the repair or the bicuspid valve. He assured me there was no need to worry and he didn't think I needed to make my appointment with Dr. Gillette(cardiologist) any sooner. Tyler is supposed to have his next check up with Dr. Gillette the first week of May. But, he did say if it would make me feel better then I could bump up the appointment. So, I'm going to call Dr. Gillette in the morning to see what he thinks. It sure would give me peace of mind to have it checked out. So, let's hope and pray it's no biggie and Tyler's heart is just fine.

Party Time!!!

Saturday was the big party. Our timing was perfect and Tyler woke up from his nap just in time to get into the car and head to the party. We were joined by our wonderful family and friends to celebrate....

It was a perfect day! Rusty and I are so blessed to have Tyler in our lives!! That's all I can type because the tears are coming!

1st Birthday!!!!

Last Friday my sweet baby boy turned one!! I can't believe an entire year has passed. Friday was perfect. Mrs. Debbie was out of town so Tyler got the spend the day with Stefanie and the kids while I was at work. That afternoon Rusty came home from Boston.



That night we went out to dinner with the neighbors and I brought cupcakes to celebrate. Needless to say, he loved the cupcake......

It was a great day with our little family and wonderful friends!!!

My 11 month old!

As for my sweet little 11 month old, he is doing great. Getting so big, so fast. He's just as happy as can be and making us laugh every day. He is eating a ton of food. I 'm hoping this is a sign he will have no problems coming off the bottle. I'm planning is 1st birthday party and I can't believe it. Here are some recent pictures...
