Our THREE babies!!!

For the last 6 years Scooter and Gracie have been our babies, but not anymore. We now have three! Although Scoot and Grace are not getting as much attention(at least from me) we still love them dearly. Tyler is getting to the point where he is starting to notice them. He smiles and them and laughs at them too. I know one day he will be crawling all over Scoot and Grace will be hiding under the bed. But for now this is how they play.....

Cereal

Last night was our first experience with cereal and it was quite messy. I think Tyler was a little confused but by the end he was starting to get the hang of it. He was starting to open his mouth when I put the spoon to his mouth. Then he wanted to play with the spoon and chew on it.

Father's Day!!

Happy 1st Father's Day to the best daddy ever! We had a great day but so much different than Mother's Day. I of course wanted something special, sweet, and memorable for my first Mother's Day. What did Rusty want??? Electronics.....duh! So, that's what he got, BOSE headphones and he was quite excited about them. I tried to be a little sweet and I also gave him a few pictures of Tyler with Rusty's UNT helmet and jersey. Those were a surprise. Just as I did on Mother's Day, Rusty got to plan the day and we started with lunch. For my special day I chose La Madeline....cute, yummy, girlie, and perfect for Mother's Day. He couldn't decide between Texas Land and Cattle, Olive Garden, Chipotle, or Waffle House. Yes, Waffle House. We ended up going to Olive Garden, and it was yummy. For dinner he wanted Rudy's breakfast tacos so Tyler and I went to pick them up for him. The worst part about today was homework. Rusty is working on his masters and spent the whole rest of the day doing homework. He is still working as I write. No fun. Overall, it was a great day and very manly.

4 months!!

Yesterday was four months of life for the T Man! He's getting so big, so fast. We had his 4 month checkup with Dr. Squiers yesterday morning. Tyler weighed 17lbs 10oz(93%). Yes, I was surprised too. I didn't think he would be that big. He was 26in long(86%). His check up went well and ended with two shots. Ouch!! He cried a pretty pitiful cry for about a minute. It was hard to hear. So, now he gets to start cereal for about a month and then we can add jar food.

Teeth!!!

For the past few weeks Tyler has been chewing on anything and everything and slobbering like crazy. Everyone ask, "Is he teething?" I have been checking his mouth occasionally for teeth, and nothing. Well, Tuesday morning I saw two little white spots. His bottom two teeth are coming in...what a big boy!! I tried to take pictures but they didn't turn out very well. You have to look very closely.

It looks like I'm torturing him, but I promise I'm not......

Who Says Boys Can't Play Dress Up???

As a child Rusty was tortured with Mer's clothes. There are plenty of pictures of him in pretty dresses and cute hats. Well, the fun has started with Tyler!!! And, we haven't even touched Chloe's closet yet!!! Poor kid.....

This Little Piggy Went.....

Right into Tyler's mouth!! It's official Tyler has found his thumb. I try to put other things in his mouth but he enjoys he fingers best. Saturday morning it wasn't just his fingers but it was his thumb only. I'm thinking we may have a thumb sucker on our hands!!!

One Little Monkey Jumping in the Chair!!

Ok, so there's not much jumping YET, but he does like his jumpy chair. He has only been in a few times and hasn't quite grasped the concept of jumping. He mainly sits, plays with the toys, and looks around!!!

As of last week Tyler discovered his vocal cords. He is talking and talking away. The noises he makes are too cute.

Pool Time!!

Our neighbors/BFF's Todd and Jill(and baby GIRL Baker!) put in a pool last weekend. So of course we had a pool party soon after. This was Tyler's first time in a pool,and he loved it. There was no screaming or anything. He actually was splashing his hands and kicking his feet!! It was a day of fun in the sun!!
