Big Ole Boy....

After our sono today it turns out Tyler is huge! We didn't expect any less based on genetics, but It's fun to know the numbers. I am 32weeks and 4days today. The average size baby at this time is 4-41/2lbs. Tyler weighed in at 6.2lbs. She said he has long legs, chubby cheeks, and a big head. They measure the head, tummy, and femur. Based on these measurements he is about the size of a 35-36 week baby. When the Dr. measured my uterus I was measuring 36weeks, a little over three weeks ahead. I go back for another Sono in four weeks(36weeks, 4 days) to check his size and weight again. She wants to check the rate of his growth between now and then. We will know more then and be able to make more delivery plans. They are not changing my due date but she said I would more than likely be about a 38 week delivery(Feb. 18th). He is head down, which is great! Now we wait and only time will tell.

This is the best picture we got from the sonogram. There is not much space in my tummy and he is quite squished. So, it's hard to get really clear pictures. This is his face and he is looking right at you....
