California

A couple of weeks ago Rusty was working in the LA area. This is rare for his job and neither one of us had ever been. So, I took a couple of days off work and flew to LA for the weekend. Luckily Mom and Barbara were available to take care of Tyler. Rusty and I were total dorks and did a lot of touristy dorky things. We spent all day Friday driving along the coast. We started in Long Beach then Venice beach, Santa Monica Pier, Malibu, and then ended the day in Beverly Hills. On Saturday we saw the Hollywood sign, Hollywood Blvd, The Kodak Theater, ate In and Out Burger, walked Rodeo Dr, and Wilshire Blvd. We of course had to make a football stop so we drove to Pasadena to see the Rose Bowl. We had lots of fun and we saw everything we wanted to see. Three nights is the longest I have stayed away from Tyler but luckily both of our moms are technology savvy and know how to send pictures from their iPhones!

 Long Beach

Notice the Hollywood sign in the background? Great camera work!
Santa Monica Pier

We stayed at the Beverly Hilton and they were filming the TV show, House.
We took a tour of the Kodak theater.
A little football fix for the hubby!
