We've got a lot of catching up to do! As you all know the surgery went well, thanks for all of the prayers. We really appreciate it. We stayed at the hospital for 6 days and it was the longest 6 days of my life. But it's over now and all is well. We have gone back for a couple of checkups and Tyler is doing great!! We will continue to visit the cardiologist for the next few months just to keep a close eye on everything. He seems to be feeling well and healing wonderfully. He is quite a brave little boy.
Yesterday was 8 weeks! Everyone says, "They grow up so fast" and that could not be more true. He has started holding his head up, smiling, and laughing out loud. It's probably the cutest thing I've every witnessed! On an even better note, he has started sleeping through the night. He goes to bed around 11 and wakes up about 8. He starts to squirm around 3 and I have to pat his little butt and he will fall back asleep. Awwwww, it's so wonderful!!!
On a sad note, I go back to work on Monday. The good news is Tyler will be able to stay at home with Rusty(when he's not traveling), my mom, or Barbara. This makes things easier for me. The even better news is there are only 7 weeks of school left and then I will be home all summer!!
Thanks again for all the prayers, love, and support over the last 8 weeks. Here are a few pictures...
